I'm a born and raised Wisconsin gal who loves being a girly-girl. If you ask my family they'll tell you I've always been a big shopper with loud opinions. I soak up style blogs and fashion magazines with the same greedy thirst that I have for the sun after our long, Midwest winters.

What I'm most excited about in writing this blog is how *fetch life in is in the Midwest. I want to write about the styles that I love, events that I'm excited about, crafts that I've successfully made, meals that my husband and I have enjoyed, adventures we've gone on together, everything that I love!

By calling this blog Merely Midwest, I don't want you to assume it's just a blah-blog. Nothing about my life is blah! I mean no, I'm not New York Chic and I don't come from the California sun - pale Wisconsin skin - but I am just as fun! Because, dammit, I'm from the Midwest!
